Asking the question: “Could it be me?” is an excellent start to getting out of the Box and staying out. But there is more to it than that. We only experience our best life possible (i.e. out of the box) when we trust God.

Trusting God
I know that’s easier said than done, just from personal experience. So what does it mean to trust God? Proverbs 3:5 & 6 gives us a good place to start. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Seeking His will is an enormous part of trust. We cannot wait for Him to guide us on our terms. It’s important to remember that even when life is hard or we’re faced with a difficult decision, God has our best interest in mind (Jeremiah 29:11). In those moments, it’s very easy to seize control of the situation to make sure it goes the way we want it. But as Dave said on Sunday, we can live our way or God’s way. And His way has proven time and time again to be much better.
